Paste a public SlideShare URL to generate a PDF, PPTX, DOCX or ZIP from the slide images. PPTX and DOCX files contain one image per slide or page, so the original text boxes and design elements are not separately editable. Private, removed or otherwise inaccessible presentations are not supported. Large presentations take longer and can fail when SlideShare does not provide every slide. Temporary files become eligible for automatic deletion about two hours after they are created.

How SlideSave Processes Presentations
Supported SlideShare URLs
SlideSave accepts public pages on slideshare.net that expose slideshow data, including URLs in the /slideshow/name/id format. Private, removed and inaccessible pages cannot be processed.
How the files are generated
SlideSave downloads the available slide images. PDF combines those images into pages; PPTX puts one full-slide image on each slide; DOCX puts one slide image on each document page; ZIP contains the individual images.
Preview Before Download
Slide images are shown in the browser after the URL is processed. You can inspect them before generating a complete file or download an individual slide image.
Large presentations and common failures
More slides require more download and conversion time and produce larger files. Processing can fail if the page is private or removed, its slideshow data is unavailable, or SlideShare does not return one or more slide images.
Temporary file retention
Presentation metadata and generated files are cached for about two hours. They then become eligible for automatic deletion; cleanup runs periodically, so removal may not be immediate.

PDF Format
Best for reading and printing. PDF files preserve formatting across all devices and are ideal for viewing presentations, creating handouts, and long-term archiving.
PPTX Format
Each PowerPoint slide contains one full-slide image. You can reorder or annotate slides, but the source text boxes, charts and design elements are not separately editable.
DOCX Format
Each Word page contains a slide image. The generator does not extract the slide text into editable Word paragraphs.
ZIP Archive
Best for full archives. Download all slides as individual image files in a ZIP archive, perfect for extracting specific slides or creating custom presentations.
